DID YOU KNOW…

CDG employees recently raised over $14,000 for the United Way?! We surpassed our goal by more than $2,000.
One thing we love about donating to this organization is that the money stays in St. Louis to help the local community.

LACLEDE’S LANDING STREET IMPROVEMENTS:

CDG was recently awarded a project to provide engineering services to design roadway improvements to 1st and 2nd Streets on Laclede’s Landing. CDG will be working with the St. Louis Development Corporation and the Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority to implement these improvements.

The project area includes 1st Street from the Eads Bridge to the intersection with Dr. Martin Luther King Drive and 2nd Street from near the Morgan Street intersection through the intersection with Dr. Martin Luther King Drive. In addition, and as project funding permits, new street lighting only will be added along three east-west streets on the Landing (Lucas Avenue from 3rd Street to Leonor K. Sullivan (LKS) Boulevard; Morgan Street from 3rd Street to LKS Boulevard; and Laclede’s Landing Boulevard from 3rd Street to LKS Boulevard).

The proposed improvements include street cobblestone removal and reinstallation after subsurface utility upgrades are completed, intersection upgrades, utility relocations, sidewalk removal and replacement, ADA compliant curb ramps, street lighting upgrades and the associated site work. CDG is teaming with Kowelman Engineering, Inc (W/DBE); David Mason Associates (MBE); and SCI Engineering. The project is on a tight schedule and design will be near completion in January 2020.

ST. MARTHA’S HALL

Christmas is a time of giving, and CDG employees have been generously donating to St. Martha’s Hall for the last 20 years. St. Martha’s is a not-for-profit organization that provides shelter for abused women and their children. This year, with the help of everyone at our office headquarters, we donated several large bags of toys and clothing to the kids of St. Martha’s. For more information on St. Martha’s Hall, and its mission to break the cycle of domestic violence, visit the website here.

NEW HIRES

CDG had an exceptional year in 2019, and as a result, we have added four new team members to various company departments. Lina Ferero-Plackemeir and Brian Boeckmann have joined the electrical engineering department, and Lee Bruner and Marcus Younger have joined the industrial facilities department. We are very excited to have these individuals on our team, and we hope you join us in giving them a warm welcome.

CDG IS HIRING!

We are currently seeking top talent for full-time positions in both our St. Louis and Sheridan offices. Positions to be filled include:
Becoming part of the CDG team has its perks. Not only does our company offer a competitive salary and 401K savings, but employees are also offered maternity/paternity leave among other great benefits.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY

CDG held our annual holiday party on December 14th at the Thaxton Speakeasy. The space was beautifully decorated in Art Deco flair, and employees and guests arrived in their finest Prohibition Era attire. Service awards were celebrated during the evening, and a local band performed late into the night. As usual, it was a great time.
