Bridge / Culvert Inspection
In addition to providing bridge and culvert design services, CDG’s team of structural engineers also have significant experience inspecting and evaluating existing bridges and culverts. As part of our bridge and culvert inspection services, CDG supplies clients – who include state agencies, municipal governments and occasionally even private land owners – with extensive engineering analysis and reports. Following our thorough onsite inspection and analysis processes, our engineers are well suited to make recommendations for replacement, rehabilitation and/or reuse in place to ensure your project is both safe and cost effective.
Our projects run the gamut from large scale bike and pedestrian pathways, like the Rock Island Trail where existing bridge and culvert structures need to be evaluated for optimal trail performance, to consulting projects on behalf of MoDOT to perform inspections and determine safety for automotive traffic on older or deteriorating bridges and culverts.
