CDG has a wide range of experience in environmental areas ranging from permitting to land reclamation to sustainable design practices incorporated into our road and trail projects.

Some of the environmental design techniques incorporated by our team for infrastructure projects have included rain garden forebays, bio swales, drainage swales and the use of porous pavement.

Our experience in mining has connected us with the State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) on numerous projects, and we have contacts in both offices who are able to provide additional guidance on more complicated mining projects.

Additionally, our engineers remain up-to- date on the latest EPA regulations affecting the electric utility industry and have quite a bit of experience engineering for the safe disposal of coal combustion residuals.
